From Abel to Mt. Hutt
Hi!
Will be a short blog as I am FREEZING in my wet shirts and shorts after a GREAt rail run at Peel Forest. Currently I am in Methven, at the base of Mt Hutt. A cool ski town that I have had 2 interviews in and 2 more tomorrow morning. the people are soo wonderful here!!! Arrived here after leaving the North coast and Able Tasman, down the West coast where I enjoyed the wild ocean beaches and cliffs and met Tyson and Oscar. Wish I had more time to spend with you- hope you visit this website and I hear from you! Over Arthur's Pass- beautiful, grand mountains with such amazing, sunny days for like almost 2 weeks now! Stumbled upon Methven and met Lyn from Wombat's Ski Shop, and Mark form the motor camp where I stay and decided to check out the town- really like it, so maybe future is here. Also, drove to Geralidine- heard it was quit nice and it is- a bit largert than Methven, so will contact the PTs and Principals there tomorrow. Well, off for a hot shower, warm clothes and to make some arrangements for a hotel for night after tomorrow as I return van then. Will fly out of Christchurch on Sat am to Aukland and then on to Honolulu where I will stay with Mahina for the night, then back on Maui on Saturday ( we are a day ahead here). So, will try and post photos from Christchurch!
