desert life
Hi All-
Temporarily have a DSL connection (instead of my slow dial-up at home) and can post some new photos!
Am enjoying living in the country with all that it has to offer. The commute to work is long, almost an hour, but half of it is beautiful desert country. Lola is loving the country life too as she and I can roam the arroyos and dirt roads. Am looking to buy a mtn. bike this week as I am surrounded by great biking. Next weekend my old buddy from Alpine Meadows snow School, Tom, is coming for a 4 day visit and we will do some biking and exploring. Next month, Pooh (Piyathida) from Thailand (and most recently Northern Illinois Uni. where she is studying and teaching on a Fullbright scholarship) will be flying in and we will do a week-long road trip to the Grand Canyon and to Canyon De Chelley. Should be a great trip!
Am enjoying working at the Aquatic Neurological Rehab Center. Some days I am in the pool quite a bit and am I ever whooped at night!!! Do enjoy the work and coworkers there immensly.
